Zundert 8 Trappist is an authentic Trappist beer, characterized by its remarkable chestnut color and a firm, light foam head.
The beer carries a promising aroma of herbs and spices, followed by a floral and sweet initial taste. As this complex beer settles, its character evolves from a light caramel essence to a beautiful and dry hop bitterness.
In the extended finish, the bitterness melds with delightful spiciness. This beer is best enjoyed at a temperature of around 10-14 degrees and contains 8% alcohol

The brewery
A beer can only be labeled as a Trappist beer if it is brewed within the walls of a Trappist abbey, under the supervision of monks. Zundert 8 Trappist is the first Trappist beer from Trappistbrewery De Kievit in Klein Zundert. Since 2013, this beer has been brewed to support the livelihood of the monks and maintain the abbey.
